About The Role
We are hiring an Account Executive to support the client operating rhythm around Storm Ideas' Creative Operations and Systems / Process Design work.
You will work alongside senior account colleagues on accounts that are often messy, fast-moving, and operationally complex. Your job is to keep the detail straight: who the stakeholders are, what was decided, what is still open, who owns the next step, and what is at risk of slipping.
The role exists because this kind of client work fails when account knowledge lives in scattered notes, private conversations, or one person's head. You will be the person who makes sure that does not happen.
You will not own the commercial relationship or set client strategy on day one — that sits with the Account Manager. But you will be close to clients, in the meetings, on the follow-up, and trusted to write things clients read. This is a role with a clear path into full account ownership for someone who moves fast.
AI is not an optional productivity trick here. You should already be using AI in real work and be hungry to get much better at it — prep, research, summarisation, action tracking, drafting, and reusable account memory.
RESPONSIBILITIES
What can you expect?
- Maintain account context for selected Creative Operations and Systems / Process Design clients: stakeholders, priorities, history, open questions, decisions, and follow-ups.
- Keep the operating rhythm running — meeting prep, notes, actions, blockers, and handoffs that do not depend on anyone's memory.
- Turn client conversations into clear next steps, owners, and open questions, and flag early when something is vague or at risk.
- Draft clear, client-ready summaries and updates that make messy work understandable without overpromising.
- Build and maintain stakeholder maps, decision logs, and follow-up trackers that others can actually use.
- Get genuinely good at AI-enabled account management: prep packs, account research, summarisation, QA checks, and repeatable workflows.
- Work closely with Account Management, Creative Operations, AI Operations, and technical colleagues to keep client work moving.
- Understand creative and operational workflows well enough to ask practical questions and explain things in plain English.
Your Expertise
- Some experience in a client-facing, account support, coordination, or operational role — agency, media, or tech.
- Strong written and spoken English. You can make a messy situation feel clear, calm, and practical.
- High agency. You do not wait for every next step to be handed to you, and you escalate early when you should.
- Structured thinking. You can break ambiguous work into inputs, outputs, owners, statuses, and next steps.
- Real interest in AI-enabled account management. You are already using AI in your work and want to get much better at it.
- Good client presence. Warm, curious, responsive, and reliable on follow-up.
- Comfortable around tools such as Airtable, Monday.com, Notion, Asana, spreadsheets, Slack, or Teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
What Success Looks Like
- Nothing gets lost. Actions, decisions, and open questions are captured and easy for others to pick up.
- Client meetings are better prepared because context, risks, and likely asks were organised in advance.
- Clients find you responsive, clear, and easy to work with.
- Vague asks become useful follow-up questions or clear internal next steps.
- Account knowledge lives in shared systems, not one person's head.
- AI becomes part of how you prepare, document, and summarise — not just how you polish writing.
This Role Will Suit You If
- You like being close to clients and close to how work actually gets done.
- You enjoy turning messy requests into clear, practical steps.
- You combine warmth with structure.
- You want to use AI to run account management better than a normal notes-and-memory process can.
- You are comfortable working when the answer is not written down yet, as long as you can find the next sensible step.
- You want to grow into full account ownership.
This Role Will Not Suit You If
- You want to be a message-passer between the client and the delivery team.
- You need every workflow, owner, and decision path perfectly defined before you can move.
- You are uncomfortable asking clients precise follow-up questions.
- You only see AI as a way to polish writing rather than improve how account management works.
- You think client relationship management is mainly being polite.
Working Environment
- Remote-first team with international colleagues and globally recognised entertainment clients.
- Modern hardware, collaboration tools, AI-enabled workflows, and room to improve how work happens.
- Fast-moving culture where thoughtful ideas from people close to the work are valued.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS
- Online video interview with short recorded answers to role-relevant questions
- First interview with the hiring manager.
- Follow-up technical exercise, compensated and designed to test skills relevant to this position.
- Final interview and exercise review with the hiring manager and COO.
